While celebrating Chrisma-hanu-kwaanza-kuh, shortly before my un-holiday celebration of Festivus, I came across an interesting blog entry McAfee published regarding the 12 dangers of Christmas shopping. From charity phishing scams, email banking scams, holiday e-cards, and fake invoices, to friend requests, holiday-related search terms, cybercriminals and password theft, it seems the holiday spirit isn’t quite world-wide.

Number 12 on the list, of course, is laptop theft. Be wary, very wary, of keeping your laptop in plain sight, especially if you’ve left it in your car.
