Laptop theft turns a profit
The Seattle-Post Intelligencer recently reported that Chris Farrar, 17, of Kent, Washington has turned his past of laptop theft and hacking into a profitable company.
In the article, Chris Farrar tells of his past, helping steal and hack into several stolen computers. After his arrest, he has turned his bad habit into something more admirable. His computer skills are now being used to repair broken computers for $40 an hour.
Though Farrar is a reformed laptop thief, not all burglars are of such sound mind. If your laptop is stolen, don’t count on a thief’s personal revelation to make it alright. Be prepared with MyLaptopGPS.
