Looks like another strong reaction from those who are tired of their data being treated with little concern. An employee of Starbucks has brought a class action lawsuit against the coffee giant, demanding some serious response to a history of lax security.

Yet another laptop stolen, yet another hundred thousand people compromised, yet another yawn from most of the people who should be protecting the data.

It’s worth remembering that most businesses will do absolutely nothing about the problem. If they even see the headline, they’ll dismiss it without another thought. Remember: laptop theft always happens to “somebody else,” right? It never happens to “me.”
