Laptop Breach in FAA
Federal Computer Week reported an article Monday that the Federal Aviation Administration recently experienced a data security breach, in which 48 files were stolen. Two of the files contained information on 45,000 current and prior employees, including information that could potentially lead to identity theft.
Bad timing for the FAA, since the Office of Management and Budget chose their administration in January to guide other agencies in cyberspace efforts.
Between this security breach, and the recent lawsuit of the Veteran’s Affairs Department (click to link to my earlier blog entry on the topic), it’s no surprise that people are skeptical about handing out personal data.

Human agencies can’t be imagined without flaw. This kind of stealing is a function of a super mind. This should be notified by the department dealing with the affairs. Should be guide lines for agencies not to cheat or not to be cheated.
