This week’s tip follows the release of the Ponemon Institute’s 2010 Annual Cost of a Data Breach Study, another fantastic summary of key issues in the data security world. In conjunction with that study, Symantec, the study sponsor, also released information about a new online calculator they have released, which helps organizations gather some data and “connect the dots” in relation to the study, specifically to estimate the costs said organizations would be facing if a data breach occurred.
